Platinum, Palladium & Gold Jewellery

Here at Jewlz Handmade Jewellery we specialise in Platinum, Palladium and Gold (Yellow, White, or Red) jewellery. We also work with Sterling silver if required.

Choosing the right metal for your piece can also be confusing there are several factors to consider. Does it suit my skin tone? How will it wear over time? Will it enhance the stones? Can I afford it?

I will go through all your options with you and tell you about the different properties in each metal so that you can make an educated decision on what suits you the best. For example did you know that White gold is actually Yellow gold with white metals added to it to give it a white colour? It is normally a brownish grey colour in its raw state and then gets what is called a rhodium plating to give it a bright white finish similar to that of platinum, However this plating will wear over time (normally within 6mnths to a Year depending on the wearer ) and expose that brownish grey colour which can make the ring look ugly and will require re-rhodium plating to bring it to its original finish.
